Palestinian women face honor killings
Honor killing? It really takes brave and courageous men to do this:
"Wahdan's brutal murder devastated her husband and immediate family, who say that the rumor mill's tales of Wahdan having an affair were untrue. But regardless of their veracity, suspicion alone can be enough to get a woman killed by distant relatives looking to 'cleanse' the family honor when there is talk of an illicit relationship."
Blame the women - why not when you're stuck in the 8th century.
Gotta love this story. Nothing like compassion and tolerance after a disaster:
"Fatimah Syam, of Indonesian Women for Legal Justice, tells Meo that a 'control team' of sharia enforcers 'seeks out women without headscarves or unmarried girls meeting boys in private and parades them through the streets in an open car.' 'I've seen the police laughing and boasting, and the girls in tears,' she explains. '[They] say the tsunami happened because women ignored religion. We never heard of this parading before the tsunami.'"
What is a "bad woman"?
Does Sharia work? It sure does. Women in the US cannot join the Augusta Country Club and Iraqi women have to deal with this.

Is Sharia a deterrent?
What are we told in this country about the death penalty? It is no deterrent - right? If that is true why then is Sharia such a deterrent? We have people and organizations in the west willingly giving up their first amendment rights in order not to offend. We have women, including non-muslims, afraid not to wear a head covering. Why? Sharia works.
Residents in the nearby area have reported a drop in robberies, murder and general lawlessness since the court began its work, Radio HornAfrik said.
Compassion in the Muslim world - yea right
Does it ever occur to those of us in the West that maybe some the people are trying to get away from Sharia Law - women especially need a safe haven to run to. How many times have we read about this kind of murder?
